Hi, and thank you camochef, here and enjoying reading the boards already. So much information is just wonderful.
Wichita Falls, Texas, is our location; we live smack in town now, so far in town, you might say downtown. Small area to garden in the back and we also grow things in the front yard and devil's strip area.
Mature pecan trees in the back yard, roses are also in the front- used to have some roses in the back yard, too, but our dog Nelly ate them, thorn, canes, roots and all. Terrier, what can I say?!

I've been neglectful and not come to this section of the forum much.
But welcome!
And I must say I'm envious of your Pecan tree!! My late grandmother lived in Odessa, TX and had a HUGE pecan tree in her front lawn. I miss that tree. Pecans are so expensive these days. I love eating Pecans like peanuts if I ever get the chance.
That's cute about your Terrier being a terror! lol My golden retriever / black lab cross dog is ever so fond of the area where I have Peonies and keeps trying to dig up the roots!

I'm envious II. My Grand Parents had Pecan trees down In Arizona. My Granny made the best Pecan Pie west of the Pecos. We had a lot of fun sitting around shelling them. Any way, Welcome from another Newby.
