Does anyone have links to reference photos of male and female spinach stalks?
Last year I grew some spinach and thought to let some plants go to make seeds. Well I never really did see any seeds, but later in the fall there was a ton of germination. So obviously there were seeds but I didn't see them for some reason. Boy did I feel stupid.
I don't know a lot about spinach other than it's picky in my location and we have to be vigilant or it wants to bolt. Only just learned about the male/female differences this morning.
