Looking for seeds for French Scorzonera. Grown for the leaves, not the root.
Thanks!

I think I answered this one in another thread but Mapple Farms in NB, Canada sells Reichardia picroides. As a side note, I eat Scorzonera hispanica leaves too.

Thanks!
Any word if Mapple Farms will ship to the States?
How are the leaves from the S. hispanica?

Good but I haven't compared them with the other one as I haven't gotten seeds for it yet. I remember seeing a couple links that would suggest that it wasn't hardy here but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't at least try one of these years.
The leaves of scorzonera are a bit hairy and bland but perfectly acceptable as part of a salad. I am excited to try the flower buds which are just starting to come up it looks like.
Don't know if Mapple Farms would ship to the states but let me know if they don't. Next year, I'll probably get an order and I can forward you some seeds.
