Our store carries Bonnie plants...And I found a German Queen tomato. brought him home two plants, he was very excited...
Its a potato leaf tomato, and is supposed to have a pink one lb tomato..

Just keep in mind if you have other PL types that they cross readily. So take isolation steps.

I was just proud of myself for being able to pick at PL variety off of a shelf of regular leafed tomatoes...Alan has trained me well!LOL!

Alan how did the German Queen do this year with the drought happening. I have found in my garden that PL plants suffer more from lack of water and high heat more than RL tomato. Now the important question how did it taste.

Production was pretty nihl, according to Kim and my Mother the taste was good but not that of Brandywine, I did save some seed, but not a lot because there weren't many seeds in the tomatoes and not many tomatoes to start with.
