I plan to use fish emulsion on my tomato plants. The plants have been in the garden 3+ weeks and are blooming and look very healthy. When is the proper time to apply this?

Mike, I also use the fish emulsion. I use ferts on seedlings in the greenhouse due to a little higher nitrogen. I use Neptunes on established plants in the garden due to lower N2 and higher Phosphate. I apply with my drip irrigation at a 4tbsp/gal rate when plant sare blooming good which would be now for you and I reapply at same rate when the first fuit ripen and a third time in late July. Rodger

Rodger,
Thanks for the information. I also have drip irrigation. How do you use it to fertilize?

I have one of those spray feeders that has a hose connection on each end and I install it inline with my drip irrigation when not installed there it has a spray nozzle that attaches on the outlet to use like a regular sprayer Rodger

Thanks! I've never seen a hose end sprayer like that before. Will have to look for one.
