I know we have some ex-Idiggers here, and I sometimes still go over there and scan for interesting info. Here's a sad piece of news for those of you who don't still browse that site... Pat Smith, who went by the moniker "Countrygma" died last month. Apparently, she had been battling cancer. Here's a link to the online obituary, if you're interested.www.wallowa.com/main.asp?SectionID=29&SubSectionID=99&ArticleID=19043

That's a shame. I remember reading that she had cancer but hadn't seen that she had passed away. I do still read that forum, there are some good people there, and she seemed to be one of them.

That's a nicely written obit, I think. I am very saddened about her death. We would disagree on issuues, but then turn right around and send each other copious amounts of flower seeds. I love that there was a celebration of her life on my wedding day.

I didn't know her that well. But it's sad, sad news. It was a very nice write-up. She told me once that she used to do bird of prey rehabilitation. I thought that was pretty cool.
