You've still got deck space and yard perimeter.. That area back by the Air Condition, where I put the fence in? Yeah, that will be nothing but Dill next year, since we are going to run out this year.

Dan sprinkle some of your dill seeds ( okay sacrifice a couple of heads and let them go to seed) and then sprinkle the seeds all over your garden area except where you are going to plant carrots, you should have plenty of dill and not waste valuable areas for just growing dill. We have it all over the gardens and I usually end up giving armfuls of it away. And just cut the flowering heads for your pickles. The plants will keep putting out new flower stalks.

That's part of the plan. We have some dill growing in most areas of the gardens now (and one big pot of it). I think I just have a perfect area that may not be good for anything else, but perhaps I could grow Dill and something else there. Any good vegetables that grow good in partial sun? Preferably not bush vegetables.

You could put some lettuce/greens and peas in this fall. See how they do. You could also plant chives or scallions there as a little border.

We do have two spots of chives now, but I definitely could use splitting/moving them. I was thinking about doing a nice herb patch over there with the dill. I've never planted peas before, any suggestions?

Hey, Dan! Welcome to HG.
Are you in Michigan, as well?

Actually no, Northwest Ohio. Only about 10 minutes away from Jim, who is right over the line in Michigan.
