and the next. I should pick all of my maters before it does, right? Some are big enough and close enough to blushing that I think they'll ripen but I guess the rest will get to be fried green tomatoes unless there are better suggestions.

What do you mean, it's going to freeze tomorrow?? You, you spoiled warm climate grower!! Pick them before the freeze, or you'll end with mushy tomatoes. Green tomato salsa is my vote for what to do with them. You can make it as sweet or as spicy as you like. I've made it two years in a row (tells you about my growing season) and it has turned out great both times.

It doesn't look any better here, You can put any green ones in a paper bag to ripen them.

We are supposed to be getting some of that tomarrow, I hope we don't get too much, the last thing I need is to loose power to the greenhouse right as the last flush of tomatoes worth $500 or so starts to finally ripen.
