My favorite place for heirloom seeds is Baker Creek. Good selection, good prices, fast shipping. I have heard good things about TGS as well, but haven't had personal experience. I am a recent convert to heirlooms, and I already have a large variety of saved seeds, so looking at catalogues, or even online, is bad bad bad for me!!! Lots of good people to trade with as well, if you're looking for something in particular.

Tomato Growers Supply is my very favorite place for tomato seeds, quick turnaround on orders and very reliable.
I've also bought seeds from Sand Hill and been very happy with them as well. The owner of Sand Hill has a full-time day job, and while he does a great job with the seed/poultry business, it is a spare-time operation so it takes a little longer to get the seeds after ordering than with TGS.

Tomato Growers Supply Company is a very good company to order from. All of the seeds that i ordered last year came true and good germination rates. I received the order in less than a week.

Thank you all for your very quick replies. I think I will go ahead and order from Tomato Growers. I am going to raise plants to sell this spring, so I need to be picking varieties now.

Sandhill has some interesting selections and the prices are very reasonable. SSE is a great organization, but their prices are a bit high. $2.75/package is too pricey for alot of people.

Tomato Growers Supply, Sand hill, Victory, and New Hope (ex specially!) are some of my favorite small seed companies who are also reliable and offer great products, I would definitely check out any of these places, although the prices are sometimes high, the quality and customer service definitely makes ordering from them very worth while.

Calling Tomato Growers Supply with questions also seems to be acceptable to them, I've done it many times and have always been given a curtious and patient reply to many of my questions, they have been more than willing and helpful towards me, definitely check them out.

If you're on the cheap, try www.valueseeds.comMostly flowers, but some good deals on some of the popular veggies. I always seem to find something that I need from them ...

I got a catalog from NE Seed. It is mostly for commercial growers. I was surprised to see they made a distiction b/t Heirloom and OP varieties. Some things were listed as both. I liked that. But some of their prices were outrageous. I understand their Hybrids are "exclusive", but 50 tomato seeds for 10.95 is way out there. Is it me? lol

I just got done checking out NE seeds and think I might place an order with them shortly. Anybody here ever do very much business with them? If so what do you think of their seed and services?
