Alan.. what do you mean by very much? Last year i ordered probably between 7-800 dollars worth of seeds from NEseed. Never had any problems with any of my orders. Seeds all seemed to germinate just fine.
It does seem that their prices went up too flower, but that's probably cause they're offering alot more hybrids this year. Since they merged with D. Palmer this year and they added all their varieties they now have alot more of the expensive varieties than they did last year. The pound rates on the OP tomatoes are still pretty much the same as last year though.
Fortuanately this year i won't really be needing to order any seeds... i already
have more than i'll need just from trading and from my growouts last season.
Plantsnobin... all the sources everyones listed so far all appear to be good companies.. can't say i've had any large dealings with em since i usually order larger quantities of seeds and i'm always looking for the cheapest. I have ordered small amounts from Baker Creek, Seed savers, and totally tomatoes though and never had any complaints. I've been meaning to try out Tomato Growers Supply cause of their selection and vast experience with tomatoes. If you do order from em.. let me know how you like em. I'll probably order a few varieties from em this year.
And finally Mike... do you know any way to contact solana besides writing em... i want to order some red peanut beans from em.. but i'd like to make sure they still have em before i send em some money. Every other company is out of em this year. I wouldn't even mind that the packets are in French as long as they have em.
BTw... plantsnobin... my favorite company for the past 3-4 decades has been Stokes.
