I am wondering if we have anyone from Ireland reading here? I am planning to be in the Republic of Ireland next spring for a few days, and thought it might be fun to meet other gardeners or find out about some nice public gardens.

I'm staying at Guinness castle one night, and also plan on sampling the fine ales and whiskeys of Ireland. (I'm counting on that to make the traveling tolerable.) Then there's the awesome food... It should be a nice graduation gift for my oldest. I might have a good time, too.

What a wonderful trip! I think that would be one of the places that I would most like to see, if my husband would ever actually fly. He won't, so I am content with the Travel channel and such. Look around on the Scottish Rock Garden site for some people you could contact about gardens to see. They have members from all over the globe and a friendly bunch of people.
