I managed to score a couple in a trade. I'm curious what all the fuss is about.

Good question. I tried to grow it last year but it never germinated for me.

It is a very nice looking tomato. Some folks love the taste. At the first tomato tasting we had in Nor Cal, it was voted one of the top 5 for taste. Personally, I thought it was okay, worth trying certainly. Not spectacular to me, but, I was in the minority on this one.

It does look nice. One variety I think looks weird is that Guernsey Island. Just a odd mix of colors from pics I have seen. I have a few seeds I got in a trade. Anyone ever grow it?

Flower: We grew it last year. It is a very pretty, although unusual looking small tomato. I was unimpressed by the taste, but that may have been due to the summer we had - - - temps in the mid 90's everyday for almost 2 months. I have seen comments from others, that the taste was very good. I will likely give it a try again myself, just to see if it was the summer - - - and I've probably just ensured that we'll get a repeat of the heat when I do. Give it a try. The dark streaks actually look almost metalic. Cheers Dan

Very cool looking on the outside too. I think I'll grow it out. Thanks Grunt!

Those are very cool looking, I think I've got some seed for them stored somewhere and just might have to dig them out for '08.

I say give em a try, grow em if you got em. Brad does very well with his sales of these little guys. I doubt it is just based on looks.
