I stopped at the farm store for grain & noticed the sign "All Perennials $1". I was hoping they'd have one of those"blue" hosta varieties, but no. Though I did score a few good bargains. I got a pot of white Asiatic Lily bulbs & Columbine "Red Lanterns". Those went for $8.99 ea originally. Johno & MLH know I have been wanting the native red columbine that grows in Arkansas. It's very elusive in the wild. This variety doesn't look too far removed from the native one. But my best buy was a fancy pink Clematis called Dr Ruppel. I have been wanting to get one, but the nice ones are so pricey. It was a $16 plant. I would never spend that much on a small plant like that. Usually $10 is about my limit. I'll have to take a look at what seeds they have left. Only 25% off now. But by december 50 off. I got some good seeds last yr. Especially on flowers.

Could you post a wish list for flower seeds? I may be able to help you out. Would you be interested in growing clematis from seed? I have saved some this year and would be happy to send you some.
