John, Forum tag. We have Burpee's Quarter Century. Burpee's was the orginator of the tomato. Let us know if this the one you want. Cheers, Dan and Val

I've never heard of Matchless tomatoes, but they were a mighty fine Motorcycle in their day

That variety at Reimer seeds does not match the correct description of the variety. Not a great vote of confidence for the source. It may the different variety "Matchless".

Glenn Drowns claims that Burpee Matchless, Burpee Quarter Century, and Quarter Century are one and the same. Reimer's description is close to his. Martin

BURPEE'S QUARTER CENTURY Det 4-8 oz Red Oblate 70-80 days Rugose Smallish erect plant. Good flavour. Slows down In hot weather. I haven't read the descriptions, but this is what I had last year. Cheers Dan
