Whew! I'm getting too old for this. I built a new greenhouse, a 12'X10' raised bed and filled it with dirt and manure and chopped straw to compost this winter, I dug a hole six feet deep by eight feet long by four feet wide to store root crops in, I built new cold frames, and I remodeled my basement grow room. This gardening thing is going to kill me! But I am reaching a point in which I will never have to go to the produce section of the supermarket again. I got my seedling planted in the Autopots a few days ago and they seem to be doing well. Here is my You tube vid: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBQoN1Txxjs

Awesome buddy! Thanks for sharing, some great ideas and a good setup there my friend.
I'm currently in the process of filling my 20 x 48 greenhouse with well rotten sawdust and worm castings as a floor to grow straight into. So tired of dealing with growing produce in pots in there in the winter time and have vowed to change many of my systems here on the farm to more self sustainable ones.
I even removed the wood stove and set it up to heat the house.
The big greenhouse will now be used for growing seedling, nursery stock, doing grafting, and in the early spring and late fall for growing cole crops througout the winter time.

Oh yes Alan, it's always a work in progress. Just when I think I've got it down, I find something better, or something that makes the whole process easier. My main goal is uninterrupted, fresh food the entire year through. It's all about overcomming limitations and turning them into advantage.
