cleaned out my chicken coop

I cleaned out my chicken coop for the first time yesterday in preparing it for this coming winter, I only emptied out the actualy coop part and not the yards, I also cleaned out the nesting boxes and I came out with 9 wheelbarrel loads of straw and manure which equated to exactly one of my pallete built compost bins. Should end up with some very nice compost out of this stuff, I checked it this morning and the temperatures were already on their way to 100 degrees F. Pretty exciting!

Did I mention I love my chickens!
