Anybody watch the old PBS series, or read the books by James Harriot? We've been renting dvds of the series, and I just love it! It reminds me of my childhood, raising cattle. I just watched an episode where Tristan was letting gas out of a bloated "bullock" at the same time the farmer lit a smoke. ;D  |

I used to watch it when i was a kid and we only got 4 channel back in those days. Most of the time either our old antenna would not pickup nothing but PBS. Man that is old series..
I like it because it had farm animals on it and sense i was raised on a farm i understood how it was staged.
It was a GOOD OLE SERIE Johno.

I have 2 seasons of it on DVD. I loved all the books. My favorite story is "Tristan and the Sow's Ear"
