This morning my wife woke me up saying that a chicken hawk was trying to get her chickens. So i get out of bed and get dressed with her yelling for me to hurryup before he get a chicken. My outside pen is a 12 foot by 12 foot area that is enclosed with welded wire with bird netting over the top that we use to use on our cherry tree. I had put it over the top to keep the Jungle Fowl from flying out. So here i go running out to the chicken pen with my wife running behind me and yelling that the hawk was probably tangled in the net and i would have to called the local wildlife agency to remove it.
As we got closer the hawk take off flying away. I stop and start laughing and tell my wife that i bet the hawk was wondering how to get to his next meal and couldn't figger out the net. Just another day in my boring life LOL.
