Thanks Down, I don't think so. Right now, I've got some young birds that are looking mighty fine, but they are too young to show. They've got some growing and some feathering out to do... But I'm taking a few of my favourites..All I can do is work with them and clean them up so they look as good as they can.. I'll take pics and I'll let you know how our fowl fared.

I forgot the camera. DUH. I did alright. Could have done better; could have done much worse. Had someone offer me a not bad sum for a pair of Polish. Didn't want to sell them, so I didn't..But I told the man I'd have young stock for him in the fall once my babies are older.. Now here's my latest hatchlings. Two Buff Turkeys that hatched from eggs a friend shipped to me from out west. Aren't they adorable? They are less than 24 hours old.

Blue,
They look great. Will they be ready for the holiday season this year?

Nope, They were for breeding, not eating. Unfortunately, I just arrived home from work to find them both dead. Been beat up and cannibalized by the chicks in the brooder that were only a day older than them. Just my luck.

Thanks everyone. My g/f said her hens have stopped laying for the season. She will send me more eggs when they resume. Probably next spring.
