that don't cost a friggin' arm and a leg! I'd like to use all local but I think I must have bought the last gallon of raw local honey around here and can't seem to find anymore.
Also looking for wine concentrates that are good but relatively cheap so I can practice before putting my hands on real fruit.
Also, anywhere to buy dry yeast in bulk?

I can only imagine how much it will be to ship honey. Big $$$$$$. We don't brew that much anymore. Just no time for it. So we just buy yeast as we need it.

Honey is pricey, unfortunately. Time to look into bee keeping.
As for wine making, there was a long standing, although now lost, tradition of home wine making in the SF bay area. Many folks would simply grow a few grape vines and make wine at home. They didn't buy the concentrate because of the cost. And the types of juice available at stores is simply not the correct juice.
