I thought so. For some reason this year ( year 10 of being with wife) she has decided to be really thoughtful in her gift giving. No crappy sweaters, but a greenhouse and arbors. I can't wait to post pics of them all with greenery..

Once the reenhouse bug has bitten you there is no cure for the obsession that follows, only more growth and greenhouses!

I can tell the bug has definetly already bit you and you'll have a mini-farm before you know it, you'll have all kinds of grand ideas and be the wizard behind the curtain, trust me this bug is contageous, next thing you know your setting up commercial greenhouses, planting fields, starting a csa and living in a tent if you have to while you build your new self sustainable house (minus that pesky internet and satelite addiction that folks like me have). -Alan P.S. at some point in time I passed the 1,000 post mark, yay for me, it only took about a year!

Jim, if you live in a subdivision you can probably put up a 100 sq ft greenhouse without getting into any trouble, as long as it isn't perm. The reason is that it's considered a temporary structure, like a tent, as long as it doesn't have a real foundation.
If you like peppers and eggplants then def grow some in your new GH. They grow like gangbusters for me and I'm a little north of you. They grow into little trees in there.

Even if you can't use it yet, it is sort of comforting to look at it and go....."It's almost spring....."
Kim and I spent New Years Eve and day working on the new greenhouse, I finally got the lumber, hardware, and some other stuff bough to finish it up, I just have to purchase some cattle panels for tables, the electrical box and some stove pipe and wood to heat with now........getting closer every day!
