Who has the best price on hoop house plastic? I am about to finish a small hoophouse and don't need a 100' roll for this one (only 30' long). Suggestions? Thanks.

Is there a greenhouse or garden center in your area that might sell you the size that you need? Are you going to cover with a double layer? I think Alan bought his plastic from somewhere in Ohio, but I don't know the company name. Wish I was closer, I would split a roll with you.

Waldo and associates in Ohio is a very good company and they have about the best prices around on tufflight IV plastic. How wide is the greenhouse? I ask because depeding on the width you may be able to find something in a sheet instead of a roll of plastic at growers supply company.

The greenhouse I am finishing up is 18' wide (30' bows) so I am looking at 32' wide plastic. Farmtek sells Klerk K50 by the foot in 36' widths at $3.78 a linear foot. I'll need 32 feet of this (30' greenhouse length) which comes in at $120.96. I may bite it and go for a roll at BT Growers Supply which is AT Plastics, 32'x100' is $288.00. Options?

I am building mine completely from scratch, very similar to... www.hightunnels.org/ForGrowers/SitePlanning&Construction/Articles/CareyHow-toBuild.htmIn addition to the one on the above web site, I am adding a gas furnace and an exhaust fan plus an interior "cage" for hanging baskets (using chain link top rail and associated pieces). If the weather will cooperate, I will have it mostly done on the next 2 weeks...hoops going on this saturday then the end framing is next. Each end will have a door, one end door is extra wide for easy mooving in and out carrying items, using large carts, etc. Blueflint
