Alan,
When will you be planting the seeds? For the greenhouse this winter?
I have some of the seeds you want as well as several other F2s from Peto and Burpee, etc.
Glory F2 Compari F2 Santa F2 Lemon Boy F2 Fabulous F2 Celebrity F2 Brandy Boy F2, F3, F4 Sungold F2 SunSugar F2 Juliet F3 Jet Star F2, F3 Big Boy F2 Ramapo F5 Merced F2
Probably some others I don't remember. Those are off the top of my head. Seeds are at the office. I'm at home. Let me know what's up. I read your post at Tomatoland but didn't respond because apparently Trudi took your simple request the wrong way and hijacked the thread. I don't think she really understood your intent and doesn't know what a good person you are ... like we do!
Let me know what's up. I also have the F1s, F2s and F3s from my hand crosses:
Juane Flammee x Sungold F1, F2 Brandywine x Neves Azorean Red F1, F2 Cherokee Purple PL x Novikov Giant F1 Cherokee Purple x Brandly F1 Indian Stripe x Sungold F1, F2
Bill
Edit:
Porterhouse F1 still in Burpee pack Lemon Boy F1 ... maybe 10 seeds Brandy Boy F1 still in Burpee pack ... let me check some more ... I really have too many to remember.

Alan with a friend like Billy it looks like you will be setup. I am glad Billy came thru for you as i cannot understand why others that dihybrid varieties could have not share some of their seeds or at least kept quiet and not show the group attitude that i hate at other sites. Billy i say to you ( That al boy). Good Job.

Thanks so much for both of you for backing me up at the other site, I really, really, appreciate it and I am glad to have good friends like you folks.
Bill, I pm'd you over on the other site let me know if you get it, I let you know in it what I would be interested in but at the time I didn't see a list of your hand crosses which I would love to have some samples of to play with too along with the ones I pm'd you about.

Alan,
This winter I gave a packet of 40 Porterhouse seeds purchased mail order from Burpee to an elderly friend of mine who grows mostly Big Beef. He started about 10 seedlings and ended up planting four at his house and giving four to another friend of ours also named Bill.
I went by Bill's house this afternoon and looked at his four Porterhouse plants. They were all extremely healthy, about six feet tall, green from top to bottom, absolutely zero sign of disease or disorder, and still fairly loaded up with new and maturing tomatoes. Several were red. Compared to his Big Beef and Jetsetter plants, the Porterhouse were healthier and greener while the Big Beef still had better production.
So, I took three Porterhouse home with me and extracted the seeds from two of them. I can't brag much about flavor. There are tomatoes that taste much better. But they are large, solid, meaty, and I have the seeds fermenting for you now and I'll keep you informed as to their progress toward your home and greenhouse.

WEll, hello yet again Alan.
Just wondering if you are still looking for lemon boy? I have some that i've been growing and saving for about 5 years now. They're now nothing like the original hybrid type they started out from. This year it was nearly a total crop failure on those and they never got to be more than a couple of feet tall with only a couple of fruits. but i still have some saved seeds from last years crops. Last year i had a wide variety of sizes, anywheres from the smaller 3-4 oz fruits to about a pound each, none of em were bagged ever... i just took some seeds from the most attractive or largest fruits. Possible crosses from last year would have been with Delicious or Mortgage Lifter since those where the only plants in their vicinity at that time.
Again, if you're still looking, LMK Dave

Sure send them along, if nothing else it will make for good backcrossing material in the future and I'd be glad to become a foster parent for those seeds. -Alan
