So, I showed kim a little place I know the other day, not that she didn't see it last year, but the amount of ginseng (4 prongs) growing there this year dwarfs what was up last year. Anyhow, we will try to get some pics up, you have never seen ginseng plants as beautifull as these. Huge 3 and 4 prongs, I am extimating that most of them are at least 20-30 years old, and since I planted seed there last year, and will again this year, I will harvest 75% of what is large enough this year, I'm thinking that I am now looking at some serious money to help the farm/business! -Alan

I've dug a lot of 'sang. Even old roots sometimes aren't very big. I had a 25 yo root a few years ago that wasn't nearly as big as some 5-10 year roots. If you can sell them as an "each root" type of deal then they *are* worth a lot more. But as far as adding to your weight of pull, they may not as much as you are hoping. But good luck to you!
