I found this place while I was looking for something else. The canning recipes looked interesting. heirloom--seeds.com/Canning_Recipes.htmlI thought that the vintage towels, tablecloths, and signs looked like the stuff my grandmother used. Garden soaps looked cool too. Nice selection of heirloom melons. Fun site to just look around. LoreD

OOOOOO, I really like those decorative little canning jars. The ones with the peach jam ?? and the dilled beans. Are they something readily available in the U.S.??
Looks like an excellent site Lore, I'm going to save this one for sure! TY

I've seen those jars at craft stores for people to make their own candles and and such. You might check one of the major crafts chains. I don't know what the craft stores are in Canada so I can't recommend one.
I saw a really great vintage lunchbox in the enamelware. I saw them in a few movies and had wondered where to get one.

So you think Michaels would be a good place to look for that style of jar? No Hobby Horse here (at least not that I've ever seen). Mind you, I hate shopping so unless I see something specific that I 'need' I hit the mall about once a year, grrrrrr.

Here is a great site to buy all kinds of jars in bulk. www.sks-bottle.com/PeachCanningJars.html Cheaper then Michaels I believe if you want a good bit. I buy the dark Essential oil jars and buy my oils in bulk then divide them. I also liked the site. I need a pea sheller.
