Got my newsletter tonight and I see that this is the official forum of the AHSC!!! Congratulations to Alan for providing an online meeting place for the Conservancy.
And I imagine Alan, that you are thrilled with the prospect of making the acquaintance of people from Kentucky, since didn't you say that's where your Grandparents came from? Maybe you will get more of an insight into some of the varieties that they brought with them to Indiana..

Well, Alan, technically you're not a member. I've been holding off sending your membership package until the new newsletter was ready. Which it is. So it, and your free heirloom seeds will go out in today's mail.
Seriously, though. Welcome to AHSC. And, again, thank you for providing this forum for our use.
You might be interested in knowing that you are part of a membership which includes people from 12 states outside our "official" region, and two foreign countries.

oh thanks so much to Brook and Alan- Im also a member of Kitchen Gardeners International and Ive asked to have a forum- they dont have the manpower/ moderatorpower available.
I think forums are a great way to interact and learn from eachother.
