I haven't heard anything in the long time about AHSC, anything new going on?

I just noticed that Brook hasn't logged in for several months. Is there a way to make sure he's okay?

Got my AHSC newsletter last week or the week before so yep, he's out there. The (forced) cancellation of the AHSC conference last fall due to lack of interest must have been a terrible blow to him, as someone who so believes in the conservation of heirloom vegetables from the Appalachian region. I'm with you. I wish he were still active here.

Just wrote Brooke this week though and he couldn't figure out why that is. At any rate, he stuck them in the mail to me and they arrived today. phew. I was wondering, in one of the newsletters, he asks for candidates to be state coordinators. Has anybody stepped up?

If anyone did not get the past newsletter, either e-mail Brook or send me a request and I'll forward it to you.

I got an e-mail from Brook the other day, he's just been really behind and kind of down from the apparent lack of interest in the conferance that didn't happen last fall, he was also kind enough to forward me the newest newsletter. Hopefully this will be a better year for the AHSC.

What link is that, Mike?
AHSC had only been around 4 years. And we weren't a seed catalog, so didn't "carry" seeds in that sense.

Brook, did you have any luck with the Greasy bean strains I sent your way last year? If so and you have plenty of seed, would you mind sending me back a small sample, I've still got some from last year, but I had nearly total crop failure with those last year due to the drought.

Alan, I had no garden to speak of last year. Will try to get some of those seeds saved this year.
