Hi, I live in Ottawa and would love to develop a seed trading network for the growing conditions in the locality. I know Mike hails from here. Any others?

OG, for the time being, I am just beyond the Valley. You will get snow today I'm told. I'm far enough to the southwest that my forecast is rain, lol.

OG, there are a lot of folks from Michigan and the like here. American gardener has a pretty similar climate, so does flowerpower. We should meet one of these days, I'll bring my boxes ofseeds, I also have friends that are not here. And I am breeding , trialing and selectingfor the area too. Sammyqc is across the river from you. She might not have a huge collection as she says ( I dunno, really), but she has a veru good selection of maters , I can tell you.

Perhaps this should be retitled: North Eastern NA ;D
My seed collection is also modest but growing.

Yes, 'The Northeast' is a good way of describing the area.
Okay, so I lied about the snow. I was chatting with someone from Carleton Place earlier in the evening and she said that they have snow covering. There's a dusting on the windshield of my truck, but nothing staying on the ground (for now). Still trying to snow, but honestly? I think it's too c-c-c-c-c-cold out there.

We have a blanket of snow now, they say 15 cm or so coming. It is beautiful though...

Well I think we have about 5-8 cms accumulated but more fell. The kids loved it spending an hour outdoors playing and uncovering my coldframes... for fun.
