Just a quick note for anyone interested...there is an informal get together and seed swap at Bill Best's Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center (SMAC) on October 3rd (a saturday). There will be a lot of good discussuions and I am sure Bill will give a "field walk" showing things that are growing still. We would love to have you if you have free time. There is nothing "organized". Remember to bring a lunch or we will break for lunch and run into town. If you come, remember to bring a chair (folding bag chairs work great). We will mostly be sitting around chatting, swapping stories and sharing new ideas and what we have each learned. This is a great get together each year and very informative.
