I"ve posted this before but since we have a shiny new section, I thought I'd do it again. *** This is how I save small amounts of brassica (mustard, broccoli, etc...) seed: When seed pods are tan in colour and dry: I put them in a bowl and crush the pods with my hand: The heavier seeds slide to the bottom so you can remove the lighter chaff from the top.

Looks good...I've done it on a small screen set over a bowl. I have a screen that is spaced about 1/8 " or so...that will handle a lot of different seed types. But leaving out the screen and using a larger bowl looks a bit easier...
