I am looking for naked seeded breeding material. I have some Stryian pumpkins seeds but i seemed to have problem with germinating seeds inside the pumpkins. If anyone has some for trade or sale PM me.

You do have to grab them early as they do germinate in the pumpkin if you wait. I don't have any but there is a great seed swap on Long Island tomorrow where some might be available (if you know anyone who lives there, sorry it is short notice) - Ken Ettlinger is still working on a naked seed pumpkin project. |

I was going to get them from northfork seeds. i beleive closely related. They are out of stock now.... This is what i get for waiting to put in my seed order!!

I grew kakai a couple years ago. It was OK, but not productive enough. This year I want to grow a few other hulless pumpkin varieties. The goal is the seeds, not the flesh.
I've come across a new variety to me, Naked Bear, hybrid. It's supposed to have both good flesh (don't care) with more smaller fruits and higher seed production. Has anyone ever grown this one?
I'm also thinking of Lady Godiva, and maybe Triple Treat and/or Styrian
Any thoughts or recommendations for a very long growing season?
