We've hit our mark - over, but that's peachy. The packs are $3.00 each, so that's $12.00 for jim and $3.00 for lav. Unless, Jim, you want to spilt that pack of Numex Pinata 50/50? Those all look like good choices, by the way! In fact, I'd be willing to go in halfsies on the pack of the sunrise sunset mix too, if you'd like?
As soon as Jim has a chance to respond, I'll make the order and report back that it went through.

Doesn't it just figure that I mailed your seeds before I said I'd order these? I'll mail your $ out today or tomorrow. Do I owe for shipping? I can split that 3 ways, too.

Yeah, Lav, I thought of that, too. And I could have waited to send your eggplant... oh, well. that's the way it goes.
Alrighty then. I just made the order. To recap:
Jim wants - Numex Sunrise, Sunset, Eclipse mix (which I want to split with him) -Numex Sweet -Numex pinata (which I also want to split) - and Santa Fe Grande
And lav wants - R Naky
So, I owe $1.50 X 2 = $3.00
Jim owes ($3.00 X 4) - $3.00 = $9.00
And Lav owes $3.00
Shipping totaled $2.60, so if you want to add 1/3 of that to your cheque, go ahead. Or don't, because we didn't cover that before I made the order.
They said the order will ship tomorrow, so I expect it by the middle of next week.
Thank you both very much for making this happen! I think Numex Pinata will prove to have the most valuable genes of the bunch for color, since it goes through all phases of yellow, orange and purple before turning to red.
I'm about to make the other Jalapeno order from TGS to get: Jaloro, Purple Jalapeno, and Chichimeca hybrid. Those, along with the donations, will get us a pool of genes for all colors, earliness, mildness and jumbo size in a Jalapeno. Getting them all rolled into one might or might not happen, but with enough volunteers to grow out the possibilities, we can reinvent the ultimate Jalapeno! We will definitely get sets of at least three of the four characteristics.
So, anyone who reads this between now and 2010, sign up here to get your seed to make selections from.

I like. ;D I haven't figured all the possibilities yet, but with this many factors to chase down, it's a bunch. The more people who will grow seeds and make their own selections, the better. (That includes you lurkers. ) Thanks grungy.

The Jalapenos are doing well. I can't say I've been doing a good job taking care of them, but I finally weeded around them this week and will apply organic mulch hopefully this evening. The purple and yellow ones are pretty impressive, especially in regards to flavor. The hybrids Goliath and Chichimeca are large and productive, although one of the latter is off-type and I should pull it up. The Pizza peppers, chosen because of highest ratings in Jalapeno taste tests, are nice plants but not too productive yet. The Numex Pinatas, chosen for the range of colors their fruits go through before finishing red, are producing okay but the plants are yellowish and weak - I hope to fix that with extra nutrition.
I've been eating Jalapenos on everything lately, but I'm pretty sure I won't lack seeds in the long run. I expect them to be very productive, they are just getting started.
There are some flowers nearby in hopes of attracting pollinators, the poppies are done now and the marigolds just getting started. Lots of weedy flowers are nearby as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good cross-pollination. Will take pics soon - my daughter is home for a while and I'm borrowing her camera.

Great, Johno, keep us informed and please save some of the hotter savory ones for our seeds if you can. But then I will try anything you care to send.
