Hello to all. I really miss this board; it is my favorite. I have had a very difficult year in just about every way, but I can finally get back to interacting with my gardening friends.
This past season was bizarre. It rained so much in the Second half of Spring, and the first half of Summer that there were NO wild grapes or beach plums this year. There was so much rain, the pollinators were unsuccessful. I couldn't find a single grape or plum!
Some of my gardens were destroyed this year, so my seed-saving was almost non-existent.
I don't even know if we will be here this Summer, so I don't really know how much to get going in the house like I usually do.
I am considering a move to Vermont. My sister lives there.
In any case, I am glad to be posting here again. Robin

Glad you are back, sorry to hear that you have been having a rough time. You know that folks here will help out with seeds, just ask if there is something you need. I think that a lot of people had crazy weather that caused a lot of problems. I know that here we had a pretty mild year as far as temps went, very unusual for us. The ornamental plants were just lovely, things bloomed for a much longer time than normal, and you could actually stand to be outside during the day. The other side of that was that things that like the heat didn't want to ripen. There is always hope for the upcoming season though, huh?

Everything that is mine is yours Robin. Just put a name on what you need. Either me or somebody else here will take care of it, as usual. Darn glad and happy to see you back... Had the hellish year of my life too, and I suspect we have things in common...if you feel like talking, just send me a pm... Mikie the single guy now

robin, I'm sorry I had missed this thread. It's awfully good to hear from you. Please feel free to ask for anything at all, and let me know if you will still be trying to get Need-4-Seed going this year, I would be happy to contribute and to pass the word around. dave

Robin: Our bean list is the only one ready so far, but keep an eye out for the rest, and ask for anything you take a shine to
