The past couple of years, I've been collecting, studying and identifying medicinal plants. Have a few already, plus many that grow wild all over our property, like "Heal All." (Prunella vulgaris).
I'd like to add to my collection and looking for Echinacea paradoxa, the yellow form.
Was curious if anyone had this kicking around before I go and order from Richters.
Anyone else grow medicinals?
I have
Calendula Mugwort Yarrow Valerian Echinacea (3 types so far - plain purple, Magnus and white) Would like to add the red, orange and yellow types just to have more late summer/autumn color. Plus I leave the seed heads in winter. The birds have already eaten half. ;D
Going to purchase Stinging Nettles plants from Richters this year because I can't find any wild around here, despite the maps from USDA and Environment Canada saying my location should have it wild. *shrugs*
Comfrey too. Can't decide between Bocking 14, Bocking 4 and the regular type. Was planning to have some chicken food growing before we get chickens in future, and want to make liquid plant feed/compost pile filler with it.

I have 3 pots in the greenhouse right now, don't know if I have any seeds left or not. They are pretty easy to grow from seed. I'll try to remember to check tomorrow.

Bocking 14 is very easy to contain.

Containing Comfrey is not something I worry about. LOL Once it's established, I'm sticking it all over our 100 acres. Same goes for Jerusalem Artichokes.
