Cute! I'm still recovering from celebrating Groundhog Day.
I love all the chocolate holidays...Labour Day is just so not happening for me...

I can't say for that particular model, but I have a very similar one that has had something around a ton of cherries run through it in the past few years. You load it up with cherries, and bang the plunger (the black knob to the right of the stoner) through each cherry as it feeds into the stoner.

Jo, the pit (seed) of a cherry is also called a stone. What the thingymajig does, is removes the seed from the cherry.

Maybe Jo was thinking about the thread on homemade wine and was wondering just exactly how much of a buzz you can get from cherry juice?

OK, so I think you've all had plenty of time to speculate on my comment at this time. I was being a smartalec. BIG time! Can you think of some alternative meanings for "cherry stoner"? If your thoughts go rather astray, THAT is probably what I was thinking of...
I like the idea of cherry wine though. It will be on the "to do" list as soon as the darn cherry trees get big enough to bear!

I passed a cherry orchard yesterday with a sign out front advertising their Cherry Juice Concentrate for Arthritis Relief. I must look into this.
But I actually bumped this thread up to Wish Everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. Hope You got whatever gardening goodies you wanted and Lots and Lots of Love from Family & Friends.
