I have seed of Jala Giant which gets up to 28 feet tall but typically is 15 to 20 ft. I have read in years past of Olaton Gigante which also could reach the 25 to 30 ft range. Does anyone know of other very tall corn varieties? and do you know of a seed source for any of them? I would particularly like to hear anything about a source of Olaton Gigante.
I've also grown Inca Giant corn in the past with typical tropical adapted problems. Has anyone else tried growing it?

Well, I'm devoting my corn space this year to funny looking version of giant corn (it's basically the same as Cancha de Montanas except some of the kernels have purple speckles, or are sold purple, or are red, or chinmarked, or brown or....) which I actually found in a little bodega in the UES of NYC (being sold as indian corn for thanksgivng). I'm hoping the fact it is mostly Mountian Cancha will nullify some of the tropical adaptaion issues. Will let you know at the edn of the year how it does

Not that time around, mountain type Peruvian corn is a bit smaller kernelled than Cuzco (plus I got no cobs at all that year) But I have a little Cuzco too, so ASSUMING they could grow here, they probably would be the same size
