Hello, My name is Logan. I am 15 years old and a sophmore in high school. I live in Southern California in zone 10a or 10b. I run cross country and track for my high school. I have been gardening for about a year and mainly grow heirloom tomatoes. I grow almost everything from seed. The first things I started from seed were a bean, a tomato, and an apple.

Welcome Logan. Who or what inspired you to start gardening? Isn't it wonderful to taste your own grown tomato? Especially when it is a flavourful heirloom variety.
Hope you will feel at home soon.

Welcome Logan. Who or what inspired you to start gardening? Isn't it wonderful to taste your own grown tomato? Especially when it is a flavourful heirloom variety. Hope you will feel at home soon. Thanks to everybody for the welcomes. I have gotten the farmers almanac since 2008 and in the 2009 edition there was an article on heirloom tomatoes. I looked at the article last night to find out that it was about Dan and Val Mcmurray. I thought I recognized the names and realized it's Grunt and Grungy. There was a suggestion for tomato sites and it suggested Tomatoville. I've been on TV for about a year. That year my uncle gave me a small greenhouse to start seeds in and game me a couple of seed samples. I started the seeds and when I found tomatoville I learned a lot more and wanted more seeds.
