The hunt is most of the fun in my opinion! Don't forget, after bagging your prey, you gotta move into it... yuckko on moving!

When we bought this house 18 years ago, i found that looking at the first few, were infact fun, but then towards the end, and having small kids at the time, i was more then done.

Oh man, the driving! When we got here I was putting LITERALLY 1,000 miles a week on the car. We spent 2 days driving a grid about 50 mile radius, going slow and writing down every for sale sign and remarking every potentially deserted residence. Then there were 4 days of calls, research, and letter writing... making the map for next weeks foray... Yet, I can still recall the first time we bounced down the wee little dirt road that brought us to where we are today...

Or Steve, tell me how I can buy the log cabin with a couple greenhouses on it. That's the one I want! i looked into it. unfortunately it is owned by absentee Toronto landlords that think it will be worth big bucks soon!! hope something comes your way soon!! interest rates are going up!! house prices may come down though!! that HST has a lot of buyers scared!

I'm in limbo with this land hunt. We have nothing so far. Thanks for looking into the greenhouse property.
