Some one came round to pick up some rue seedlings - I rue the day I planted... sorry. Anyhow, they asked me what the tall purple leafed plants with the yellow flowers were growing in the border of my front yard.
Cabbage.
I'm hoping to get some seeds and make a cross with another kind of cabbage though my kids managed to knock off the flowerhead that was most likely going to flower at the same time. Hopefully some of those internode buds lower down on some of these above plants will flower later.
In the meantime, isn't it pretty?
