Back in the winter I found a quick moving aphid infestation on my indoor seedlings. I quickly ordered lady bugs from Planet Natural. They didn't have anything saying they were not sending them right away and they charged my card right away. On my order I said they were for indoor release. When they didn't come I contacted them and they said they weren't sending them until spring in my area. I was angry that they didn't tell me that earlier so I cancelled the order and ordered from gardening zone which sent me the bugs right away.
Ok so the aphids didn't get cleared up and the last bed of napa cabbage that gets less water on windy days and can get more stressed, had huge numbers of aphids I noticed Sunday. So since Planet Natural has lower prices I tried them again. They debitted my card right away again. But sent an email a few days later saying due to cold weather they aren't sending the order until 7/12. Now I don't think it is right or common for a company to charge you way before the order goes out. I mean when you order seeds and plants, for instance, you get charged for the seeds and then charged for the plants when they send them later. So any information on Planet Natural? Where is a better but still cheap source of lady bugs? I can't afford the other aphid predators but lady bugs (which I still have a lot of outside but not enough evidently) are affordable and happy there.
I checked their reviews on Dave's Garden and added one of my own. This charging right away business is bad business!
