Beautiful photos! My father is from Mallorca. He came to states as a merchant seaman many years ago. He had many dear friends on the ships from the Basque Nation. I've heard lots of stories but one of the greatest is when he had an egg eating contest with another gentleman. My dad was forced to stop at 22 eggs. The other man stopped somewhere around 50 eggs. Wow! |
