If anyone grows this, it isn't! According to the HSL newsletter I had the other day, LL was originally green podded. Either it's been hybridised or what we grow now is a different variety. Either way, it's still a nice purple-podded pea, but we'll have to invent a new name for it.

Oh I know - I read this yesterday. I used it to breed my purple mangetout - now it's a mongrel - I don't know who the Daddy is!
