We had an hour in the sitting garden last night after dark, before it clouded over fully and saw several very good ones and a few faint ones. Probably one every 5 minutes on average.
Made a wish too ....
Do get out to look for them if you can.

One of our sons and his wife caught the meteor show. He always remembers to check the date. I always forget.
Although maybe one of the reasons, he remembers so well, is hubby and myself used to take the three kids and sleeping bags to a cliff overlooking the ocean at a nearby park, to watch the meteor shower.
Our farm is surrounded by forests(call it 'Glade Farm' for this reason) that we lose sight of the meteors behind the trees too soon.
Over the ocean, the night-sky stretches wide. Community fireworks are lit over the beaches for this same reason.
Speaking of which, our little town celebrates Blackberry Festival this week and fireworks are part of the celebration.
