michel gave me some leek seeds last year, i believe he got from GRIN or some similar place. i had them in pots last year and they lasted through the winter and i put them in the ground earlier this year. they are going to seed now. the name on the package was Notan Leeks. they are a really interesting leek, like none i've seen before. they have spoon shaped leaves, and their bulbs don't like being buried. here's a couple of pics...

Looks like it probably is Allium nutans (notan is probably a mispelling). Would be interested in a little seed if possible and any info you or Michel might have on its background.
I have an Allium nutans which was collected in a Russian vegetable garden!

PFAF says they taste like chives. What size are the leaves bunkie?
