Very good. Just remember we are trying to get them there by the new year. Put 1-2 little packs of seeds in a greeting or card and mail it. It's just a small token of friendship and good wishes for the coming season.

You mean we aren't supposed to add in a couple dozen cookies, a piece of Aunt Thelma's 20 year old fruit cake, a pound of fudge, 15 tulip bulbs, 4 light bulbs, and a de-treed partridge?! LYNN! You are taking ALL the fun out of it! ok, so if you come and kick my tires, I prolly deserve it... ;D

No sorry Jo. Some of us are already involved in Gift Exchanges. It becomes expensive after a bit. A Handwritten message inside a Seasonally Significant Card which includes a few well-thought-out shared seeds has the potential to mean just as much as a larger gift. Well except maybe for the Fudge and the Partridge with the Pear Tree

Don't sell yourself short either Lav. I remember very well a Turkey Box arriving from the wilds of VA for a gift exchange. I'm just trying to remind Jo that this is a Card Exchange and I'd hate to see that Partridge after it goes through the Automated Letter Reader at the USPS

Thank you! You are WAY to kind! By the by, how did the seed perform? Did you get anything that you felt was "specialer" than you had before?

Jo - the okra was fabulous. I didn't grow out the cornichons this year, but Andre is threatening to decamp if I don't grow them this coming year. He's a sucker for them.

I mailed mine on November 15th. I heard from my Gift Recipient yesterday to say that she had just received it, so yes, two weeks or more. I heard from a friend who sent a parcel that it took 25 days from Ontario to D.C. And I've got two parcels out floating around the mail system between here and the U.S. that are going on 3 weeks...Slow this year for so early in the season.
