Neat article! so far the internet is telling me the 2011 price of such a jack is $80 at least... I welded a bit in a college sculpture class. Liked it a lot, but dont have any such fine skills :-)

When I ask Google, it says about $143 USD from Euros (European units are whole numbers, decimal place iirc. USD are whole numbers.decimal place) but the one at BG is $ 164 Anyone using the purchased ones? they look kinda nifty.

We tried a Piteba press but returned it after trying it. We had inquired if it would work for poppy seeds (they said Yes) and found it did not. We thought it was rather poorly constructed and overpriced.

Bummer, but thanks for the review.
There is a workshop/cooperative fairly close in town, and I think if I practiced I might be able to make the one MJC posted. (Or barter/pay for someone to make it). I took metal shop in college one quarter but that was a while ago and my welds didnt win any beauty contests!
