Johno my back doctor had me on Neurontin, for 6 years until it did not do the job and switched me to another med. Neurotin is a seizure medicine with the side affect of fooling your brain into thinking you are not hurting. Don't ask me how it works as i was afraid to ask my back doctor fearing his answers. Johno Neurotin can make your mind play tricks until you get use to it then the side affect go away. One minute i would be hot and the next minute i would be cold. I also saw the walls breath and i thought i was on a bad LSD trip. Keep the Faith Johno and hopefull things will start to work for you.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. I'm taking one a day this week, but I'm supposed to work up to three a day by the third week. It's working a little bit. I noticed immediately that I could think more clearly. I needed that... Plays tricks on your mind, huh? That might be a fun game while it lasts...

Johno-I don't mean to pry, but I was just wondering how you have been feeling lately. Hope things are going well for you. Karen

If I were worried about anyone prying, I wouldn't post about my problems - it's fine to ask, and thanks for asking!
I still have a few good days followed by a few bad days - same cycle - but overall I feel better. The medicines were hard to get used to, but they do help. Last nigh I forgot my third round of the day, and I could really tell when I woke up...

Hey all, I was just surfing the net, looking for info on the trail of tears (a couple of miles north from my house,) and ran across a picture of some of my handiwork! This is a resort owned by some friends of mine. I helped them build this cabin a few years back. It's concrete on three sides (mostly underground,) but the front wall and dividing wall are made of rough sawn logs. That's where I came in handy... www.rileysstation.com/ozark-mountain-cabins.phpScroll down to the second cabin, named "Bunk Lodge."

How the heck did you manage that? Wireless?? Or did they actually put highspeed equipment in your area??
There's a movement afloat around here to convince a Wireless company to come to the area. They figure it will cost approximately $100 a month for internet service after the other incidentals like $300 modems, etc.... Methinks I'm doomed to have dialup for as long as we live here....

As far as I know, they just program it at the switch somewhere. I think it's DSL? Heather took care of it... The service came with some little extra phone jacks, so now we can use the same phone line while we're on the Internet. Weird. Anyway, it went from $20 a month to $30 a month. Not too bad. It's like a whole new universe at my fingertips now. Heather thinks I'll find the end of the Internet...

I've been told by 3 phone companies that the equipment for DSL is not on this line. Not enough people to warrant the upgrade. I wish it were just a FlipoftheSwitch, LOL

I started a blog today. Haven't figured out how to use all its features yet, but I will eventually. It will soon start having ads appear, and it won't hurt me if you have a look at them... I am babbling about gardening for now, but may delve into other subjects at times. I basically just listed a couple of ideas on how to spend your gardening down-time today. Check it out.

I liked it too, Johno! I can't remember my google acct password, so I couldn't comment on it, but it was well written! You should post some of your garden pics, too.
