I picked up a bag of these little fava beans at a middle eastern grocery. This is probably impossible to determine, but, based on the size do you think these are the same thing as those bell peas that so many people on this forum seem to love so much? Looks a lot like the Marrone Bell Peas I bought from Purcell Mountain = I recognized them as favas from the growth habit, and blossoms.

Looks like what they call Tic, Horse or Field Beans in the UK, mainly used mainly for animal feed, but they are apparently better tasting and preferred by some for falafel. I grow some every year but have never really compared the taste. They are often also used as a green manure.
