Beautiful! I'd post response pictures but there'd be too much sun glare off the snow.

Oh wow oh wow oh wow... How utterly breathtaking! I've seen that time of year once in Mallorca. I remember driving from Palma to Vallemosa and it was a carpet of white tinged with pink from the almond blossoms. Thanks for posting that Jack!

I like the Acacias. Do you know what species it is? Looks like maybe feathery leaves (versus phyllodes)...maybe baileyana? Good blooms on those. Our Magnolias are very behind schedule. I haven't noticed even the little Stellas that are usually so early. It's been cold this year. My Camellias are blooming but they lost a few blossoms to a late freeze about a week and a half ago. And someone stole my Rejnfeld's Early Sensation Daffodils.

Wonderful place to live, and spring clearly arrived there! Must be spring here too as yesterday I started cutting the grass (weeds) for the first time, had to rescue bumblebees from the polytunnel, saw the first lizards of the year, willow full of honey bees buzzing, and sowed lots more seeds. Today I will graft some apples as the sap is beginning to rise.

It looks and sounds absolutely wonderful, alas north of the 49th parallel we are getting longer days but still wintery cold so while I am thinking spring, it hasn't quite caught up to that idea here.
