Just thought i'd let everyone know that i think it's important that the research articles that Alan Kapuler has written and his other works need to be digitalized and published online somewhere. I'm thinking of sending in the $22 to Peace Seeds in Oregon to get the ~60 pages of papers if needed. But in the meantime i have started to use the papers Alan Bishop has already uploaded to Picasa. picasaweb.google.com/bishopshomegrown/TheAlanMKapulerPHDPlanetaryGenepoolResourceLibraryEdition1FreeAminoAcidsInOurI'm using www.onlineocr.net/ right now to convert the scanned text into digital text. It seem's to be working quite well. I'm having to fix a couple of errors, but surprisingly the OCR software did a pretty good job. I've got the 1st three pages digitalized if anyone want's them. But, i think they need to be hosted on the internet somewhere. I see Joseph has a nice website now and assuming he's willing to host them i think that would be one good place. Preferably multiple people should host them. I'm experimenting with creating a website, but i'm hosting it myself at the moment so i don't consider it "stable". For some of the complicated stuff like the kinship gardening circle stuff i might be able to eventually recreate a Vector image of it in Inkscape. But that's a bit down the road. What does everyone think? Is this something that's important to other people?

I can help in some fashion...my scanner is on the blink, so I can't scan anything at the moment, but I can proof, clean up and other editorial type chores. I suck at using Inkscape, so I'll leave the graphics up to you. I can also host pages. mjc.unlimitedtree.com/

Great! Proofreading would be great! On the first couple pages I've corrected any misinterpreted words and spelling mistakes i saw. I even corrected a spelling error in the original paper. But chances are that i still could have missed some. Anyone else is free to help out too. Feel free to use the OCR website to convert the pictures into text if you have free time.
Also i'm not sure if the papers Alan Bishop scanned on picasa are all of the papers Alan Kapuler has written. If not, then hopefully someone can get copies of those as well.
